I am a martial arts nerd. One of my many nerdy passions is martial arts film. It all started as a child watching Power Rangers and Jackie Chan movies. I kept up with martial arts movies fairly regularly until I discovered two movies at the same time, Tony Jaa’s Ong Bak and Donnie Yen’s Ip Man. From that point I knew this was something incredible and I’ve made it a passion to learn about martial arts movies throughout film history and around the world. I myself am also a martial artist practicing Kickboxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, and BJJ.
